We work hard to ensure our residents enjoy active and interesting lives, giving structure as well as opportunities to interact socially

Activities

Our Activities Co-ordinator brings a new dimension to our ‘Positive Living’ activities programme with not Care Homes Preston, Care Homes Chorley, Care Homes South Ribbleonly  experience and professionalism, but with good humour and sensitivity. We are looking forward to developing a varied programme to stimulate both mind and body with everything from clock making to fitness classes.

The residents have already attended afternoons of music and songs by local entertainers.

The home organise events and visits for residents, family and friends. These ‘out of the ordinary’ evenings are part of our new ‘Positive Living’ programme and can be enjoyed by everyone who attends.

There’s nothing like a good trip to Blackpool to see the lights and an evening in the seaside Town was organised before Christmas

Building Development

We are excited to announce the completion of the new conservatory. The building will ensure that residents have extra living space with natural light and views and access to Brookside’s gardens. Building work disruption was kept to a minimum. The benefits to residents, family and staff now that it is completed, will be welcome by all. Owners, Maggie and Graham Parr, are committed to developing the ‘Positive Living’ programme throughout all aspects of the business
